Hey guys. Got a couple people coming out. Sorry for any confusion. I will post pics when I have a little better reception and figure out how to do it from my phone.

But lesson learned. Don’t make stupid little mistakes or they can ruin your day hahaha.

Thanks to all who have contacted me. I owe all of you a lot.

I’ll update once we’re all out of here.

    Thanks for the advice @JaCado
Here are some pics. Doesn’t seem too bad but makes me a little too nervous to get out on my own. First solo trail of this type I’ve done. Was going good until I did this haha

Yeah looks like you could use a tug from the front, using the skinny pedal looks like it may take the rear over the side.

My thoughts exactly. I’ve been trying to clear out the back a little maybe try to get a running start but it feels quite sketch. There is a decent tree just above me so I’m thinking a winch and snatch block could pull out the ass end. But I’ll let the guys decide what they’d prefer to do. Probably have a hell of a lot more experience than I do in this type of thing.

BTW, two pints each of the special blend of salsa w/ Hatch chili's are already canned and packed away.

So we have one vehicle up here. Turns out it’s a little worse than he was expecting. Anyone still around that could come up. Preferably with a winch.

No kidding. It takes only a moment of distraction for things to go pear shaped.

Some are more embarrassing than others though. For example, stopping on the side of the road to help someone and locking your keys in the truck. :anonymous:

    Good luck!

    4 run, 2 don't
    Sub'd.

Have to say, good on the OP to know when to call it.

I've gone wheeling on my own (in fact, only on my own), hoping that I'll know when I've reached my limits and turn back.

I’m above Owens valley. Bishop is just south east of me. It’s looking pretty hairy up here. I’m on the phone with bills towing decking if I want to spend the $200/hour the help get me out. I have @Hobbs up here but he’s not feeling too confident.
