This in in regards to URD third gen supercharger Kit. If you read the bottom it says they’ll be looking for a stock manual transmission truck to be a beta tester. They’re in MD so some of you may be interested.

Used marine grease on my last wrenching project. Everything I disassembled gave me trouble. Even snapped off a skid pan bolt.

I use Anti-Seize on everything. When I replaced the first wp on my 65 Caddy I thought the bolts were gonna snap off because of the corrosion build up. I took the time & wire wheeled the corrosion off of the wp mounting bolt threads then applied a small smear of anti-seize on them. I had to replace that damn A1 Cardone wp 2 times because they were defective then I reluctantly ordered a new Chinese made one and no issues. But the 2nd two times the job came apart better than a new car. I always take the time to clean & lube everything, pays off in the long run. Anti-Seize on bolt threads & dielectric grease on wire connectors.

I put stickers for more horse power!
Cut a piece of cardboard the shape of the patch, I have an extra piece of chromoly steel from my frame repair if you want it

I bought a new oem bolt and pulley from Amazon for about $45. Since you there, replace the pulley too

Weld on over top or knock the rust loose, cut out a hole and then weld it in?
I’ll have to take pictures and measurements! I appreciate it Tony!

    Which pulley?

My bottom idler was actually in good shape and adjusted halfwat decently.

Its the power steering tensioner bolt and alternator tensioner bolts that i need to replace

I just like asking for opinions lol

I’ll be going around the whole underside with a brass bristle brush, knocking off most of the surface rust and covering it with some sort of paint

Also you don’t need to pull radiator to do belts but yet you did you just have to pull the shroud .

Has anyone here done the killswitch fuel pump mod? Looks like a relatively easy DIY but unsure if its necessary on my 03. If not, what are some good alarm brands? Thanks

Take off all the rust as much as you can.

I thought it was the ac tensioner pulley, mine broke when I did the timing belt/ water pump replacement
