can make a longer video like driving around in a parking lot? worth a shot to disconnect sway bar and zip tie outta the way for a quick spin to see if anything changes...you WILL notice a big difference in handling...but only two nuts and pull links out of the knuckles and rotate it up out of the way.

700lb coils are a HUGE jump from 550....almost sounds/looks like the noise is when suspension is unloading and not while compressing...

I had it off for a month and when I changed the coils I put it back on cuz I use my truck as a daily and my wife drives it too.

Honestly, it kind of sounds like tire rub. Is it louder from inside the cab? Like others have said, you need to fix that cv angle yesterday.

When its parked it looks ok, but when its articulating as you are driving it is going beyond its limits.

I even called King support and asked them about when switching to the 700 lbs coils do I need to lower it or keep it as is and he said it’s the same length so keep it as is.

The spring is fine... a lot of people run them with out issue. The CV joint may have been failing before the new springs were put on. The new spring is just helping it long faster now.

That's not what CV joints sound or act like when worn. On the first two thumps it looks like the wheel moves. I say something is loose in the suspension or hub. Seems to coincide more with suspension movement.

The CV seems fine. You are not articulating it any more than anyone else on here with a standard length bolt in coilover. My guess is a lot of these people haven't seen video of a CV while driving around, articulating a little bit.

if your going to play with coil preload, make sure your try and turn your lower coil bucket so the vertical slot is facing rearward...helps keep more crap from building up in there. Yours looks like its pointing towards the engine if not a little forward...just a random quick tip while your there

Not trying to say your wrong man, just I have checked everything possible and the only thing left is the CV axle.
I took off the sway bar and nothing changed.
I reTorqued every bolt possible, greased UCA’s.
The only thing left is the CV

I just find it EXTREMELY hard to believe that’s it. I’m on the original cv’s from 2005 with 200k miles on them, and I’m not easy on them. Had to reboot them a few times but the meat of them keeps on kicking.

it maybe worth a shot, try some WD-40 from the top down...start with upper control arm and soak the bushings, uniball at spindle top and underside.....then down from there....its not a tire rub sound from what i hear, heck, even try lubing the coil spring at the top and bottom, might be the spring just twisting or rotating a lil bit..not sure what else to say but trouble shoot it

I just lowered my kings 2 turns. I uploaded a video. Here is the link. https://youtu.be/-ETXtbw6mQ8
Angle looks good. Drives great. Just that sound. the weird thing is that the sound feels like it’s coming from the body. That’s what it feels like when driving. I even check all body mounts.
