Bone stock intake air temps at 45-55 mph are ambient plus maybe 2 degrees

So it may not make any difference to attach the scoop to the intake.

Correct, ive run stock, afe, k&n, and urd..... None have them have pulled lower than ambient air temp at speed.... So, whats the point? U cant get lower than ambient with an intake alone

Get a scangauge2, ultragauge, or torque app

U also dont want water hitting your maf..... So why bother?
Its happend to me and a drop of rain can cause the truck to stumble on its face ... Imagine the fun while merging onto a freeway.

Big clean up inside and out, Armor All and the works. She was a mess. Last big clean up before deer season. Can’t have those strong scents in the cab when headed into the deer woods. Only change was the cabin filter and added new barrel caps on the valve stems. Easy Peezy.DB9EBE16-0614-46CF-A23B-3642DC425BD6.jpg

Probably better off with the supercharger if you can afford it. They are not cheap.

Finally got a second key made for my 2014 Tacoma. The selling dealer, not a Toyota dealer, only had one key and fob, also a second fob but no key.

Local locksmith had a machine he inserted my key into, then the transponder for the second key. Took less than 30 seconds. He called the key a cloneable key, price was $60. The dealer wanted $135
and would have to make a service appointment.

The key works great and started the key on its first try. Success!

Just curious, is the dealer $135 key the exact same as what I bought?

Those are def fun, and an aftermarket intake can make the blower whine even more noticeable.

Everyone says that a supercharger increases the maintenance quite a bit on these trucks.

    Can u find a post?

Cuz, in 4-6 yrs ive not done anything you wouldnt have done without a blower except ive replaced the belt once.

Matter of fact heres the video after buttoning up the blower and serp belts.

I can feel your pain, litterally. My back is screwed and both shoulders are all jacked up. I still do my own rotations on the truck. I found a way to cheat and I use the jack to raise and lower the truck until I can wiggle the tires on so no more lifting than absolutely neccessary. It takes longer but it works.

Man, that is one clean looking truck. That frame and undercarriage look like new!

If I had the $5-6k to burn on a supercharger, I would probably do it. I’m in Colorado and live at over 5k elevation. The mountains (whole point of my taco) go over 14k. I know it would make a difference for me.

Changed my spark plugs and cleaned the MAF sensor. Old plugs had 50,000 miles on them and didn't look too bad. I'll check the gap later just out of curiosity.
