They are great dogs and will love you to death but holy shit are They a lot to handle at times

 

When my girlfriend asked for a husky, I LOL'd

Got her a Pomeranian, and I hate to say this...but that Pomeranian is my favorite dog ever.

I'd have a big dog myself to take hiking/camping with me, but she is awesome -

had her from a puppy and she lived 17 1/2 years (she was an extra from an unwanted litter so no upfront money paid!) ... current dog got from the shelter still had to shell out over $100 to adopt and she refuses to BARK to get back inside, even in the freezing cold so I have to make sure I am aware that I let her out and check up on her

one of my favorite dogs. Chiweenie, but he thinks hes a mastiff...lol. loyal to a fault. Seen him go after pitbulls 10 times his size because they were close to our kids. Didn't matter to him.

 

This old boy only wants to go with me if it means he gets to go see his buddies the goats and the horses.

shes a goat herder... they've butted her, but comes back and nips at them to get back in pen..lol
