Hope it’s true. It’s really difficult to believe that one truck could have this much wrong with it and some of it is not just be an over anal owner. I means he basically mentioned every aspect of the truck was done wrong. Paint, assembly, engine, trim, frame, electrical.

This truck is likely long past his states lemon law criteria (miles and months).

Only way to solve the issues is to clean it up and trade it. That service history is going to be a ball and chain though.

Good advice about the paid for insurance. I forgot it when I sued Subaru.
I did, however, fully expect that they would resell the Forster (w/ a used engine). So I went to random pages in the owners manual (left in the glove box) and wrote in the margins: "This car was bought back by Subaru under the Lemon Law". "This was a failed engine repurchase by SoA". etc.

It was in the shop for another 37 days, I have it now but the work order is still open and it’ll be going back to the shop.

Then I get to point out work they didn’t do but told me was completed. I’m working with a lawyer, signed the retainer yesterday, we’ll see what happens next!

Zoop, can you elaborate on the following please? I must've missed your explanations even though I've read this whole thread.
    • Rusty Pinch Weld Body Work - Where?
    • Glass Repair - What?
    • Wheel Repair - What?
Sorry you've had this experience man, Toyota has just totally shat on you with their service and responses. My 2016 is my 3rd Toyota and may very well be my last. I've had an 85 pickup and a 94 pickup both with 200k+ and collectively they spent less time in the shop then my 2016.
