I can almost see Old Rag from the house. Regrettfully no I will be working it is harvest time and grapes are rolling in everyday. We have already pressed around 50 tons and probably have about 200 more to go. I couldnt even plan for next weekend as we aren't certain when graes will arrive. Let me know if you're dropping in around Culpeper in the evenings and maybe we can meet up or you can swing by the house. Sending you a PM

Is anyone interested in a new set of 2nd gen oem leaf packs?
My daughter's neighbor has a set that he got on some leaf spring recall/replacement, but his dealership wouldn't install them because he had a lift. He has since sold his tacoma and has no need for the leaf pack set

You could go old school and take a sprayer with roundup, then write obscenities in big letters in their yard. Will take a couple of days to show up when the grass browns and dies.

Brewery is getting there. IDK if we will make the Oct 4-6 opening as we have had some issues getting an electrician but apparently we have one now. Hopefully we will bw ready to start brewing the second week of September. Harvest is just starting to wind up we have only crushed about 50 tons so far but I won't be suprised if we get at least another 200 tons. Not much time for me to do anything right now I never know far enugh in advance when the grapes will show up.

Ok so I’m back. It was awesome.

We started at the “moderate difficulty” starting point at the lake on Skidmore Fork and worked our way up to the Knob. It was great...nothing a stock TRD OR couldn’t do. Go slow, use your 4hi and it’ll be fine. That said, we attempted the hard way down hitting the stairs along the way. Nope. It is very washed out, rutted beyond passage for anything not lifted and/or heavily modified. There were two door Rubicon Jeeps turning around. We took a look at 85A and it is essentially a newly laid gravel fire road. So with those options available to us, we chose to go back down the way we came.

    All in all, great trip.

Glad that you made it out alive! Smart call to turn back. With an experienced spotter you could have made it through, but best to only do what you’re comfortable with.
