If I have that issue I will sell it right away to someone with a 2nd gen! Post up ur finds in regards to this please. Hoping I don't have any problems with it.

From what I read you probably will. Even though they say the force protocol doesn't resolve it like it does on the SG & force ISO, try it anyways if you get the issue.

Based on what I posted earlier regarding the guy on TTORA that posted pinouts, it sounds like that would work with the UG. But that means you would have to hack your cable which I'm sure you wouldn't do, not worth the risk.

Let us know what happens. Better yet, yank that ABS out, you don't need it.

 

Man I don't like messing with the computers on vehicles, wish I would've read all way through before purchasing. Looks like I may just take a loss on this! I may be hitting u up Jesus.

So it sends abs in to diagnostics mode basically shut it off, but when disconnected it will all reset or go back to "normal"

 

From what that guy said yes & if that's the case changing pinouts makes perfect sense.

I have not seen the connector yet but it just might be possible to rewire without cutting. Then again by the pics I'm not so sure. Would probably be best to do it inside the unit. I used to rewire engine harnesses & various connectors all day long at my old work.
