A few years back, we had a couple of tremors when the fracking boom was in full swing. Sounded and felt like a large clap of thunder.

If another quake hits the New Madrid fault, the Mississippi River will run backwards again.

If it happens again and the Mississippi river river bridges are lost, this country will be in a world of hurt for a while. Too much commerce moves east-west across the river in the fault area.

Large lakes, such as Reelfoot Lake in Tennessee and Big Lake at the Arkansas-Missouri border, were created by the earthquake as river water poured into new depressions.

It also set off a shit storm of wars local wars.

i am having trouble finding a topic thread that lists all of the oem parts and #s in the engine compartment
does such a thread not exist?

I find it challenging let alone time consuming to find the proper online diagrams that also list the relavant part #s for quick order reference

It takes way to much time to compile every pn and organize it for one list.

Yep. There are variances between model years, engine, and trim options for it to cover everything. There might be a list of parts that are common between all 1st gens. To hit every variance, that could be a huge list.

If you are going to order OEM, the sites and parts vendors xref the part and vin number to avoid mistakes. I've seen a few differences between Prerunners and 4x4s of the same year.

What would be helpful with the first year of Tacoma hitting antique status next year, would be to have a reference list of known good aftermarket suppliers to use when OEM parts start to disappear or become prohibitively expensive to use. I don't know how long Toyota maintains parts after the 25 year mark. I have a 28 year old car where OEM parts started to dry up 3 years ago.

the engine compartment should be relatively identical for the 3.4?

I looked at an 94 Toyota Pickup parts list. Here's how it looks when parts start to disappear. The circle with the slash prevents it from being ordered.
