Sounds like one leg of your Y connector may be bad. He will get a new one out asap if he is aware. Mine will be in when i return from vacation.

I’m going to switch them around today and see if that’s the problem. I probably should’ve done that when I had everything off:facepalm:

Tested everything and it looks like my driver side cable is the culprit.

I installed everything according to instructions and couldn't get the lights to work.

Went back through and checked all connections and found that the driver's side had a loose connection so I fixed it and taped it. Now the driver's side works, but the passenger side still does not work.

Also, now my dome light thinks the door is always open. It wont turn off unless I turn the dome light switch to the off position, even with all doors closed.

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? I am pulling my hair out over here...

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

I had enough slack to connect the 10inch extension directly to the y connected on the harness and bypass the driver side cable. No need to pull the driver side cable or remove mirror to test.

Got done with the install yesterday and everything was fine. Went for a drive today and my driver’s side switch won’t roll down the front passenger window. Any ideas?

Did you seat all connections in properly?
I would try going around and see if anything is loose.

    Thanks,
Went to Homedepot at 3am, pitch black, to test them out.

Pretty sure the overnight staff thought I was up to no good.

Check the plugs by your feet that you unplugged when you did the boots and wire pass through

I’ll have to go back and double check all the connections. I was hoping somebody would know which wire to look out for in case I damaged it.
