Those who own a 2016 or 2017 Tacoma how is your truck going so far!? Curious as to how the 3rd gen holds up after warranty

Fantastic. I did however get rid of those stupid "Kevlar" Highway tires, and replaced them with some great 265/75/16 Duratracs. The tire Toyota should have put on an Off-Road truck.

2 years, 30k miles, low mileage but 80% of the time in Houston stop and go traffic, other 20% on long freeways, offroad a dozen or so times, sunk in mud/water, and taken shots from numerous rocks and she still just trucking along. She just got her 3rd oil change. Only real mod is tires, moved up to 255/85R16.

I haven't seen any on the road that show they are wearing poorly. Like when you see vehicles riding around on blown shocks, or other obvious signs of wear.

2017 with 50k miles. TSB's for rear axle, A/C accessory fan, Shifting issues and HVAC fan. Replaced shocks, 3 sets of tires, CV boot, front swaybar link, battery, front brakes, rear bumper and a windshield.

Still hate the trans hunting for gears. BUT, haven't had any major issues.

50k. Just a squeek in the dash from the known issue. Very minor.

An unusually high amount of pinstriping.
92K and half of those running logging roads with only maintenance and one toasted U joint.

Edit: Should add that shocks were blown at 30K, but I consider that maintenance in my line of work.

I've had mine for 4 years now, and other than the rear diff leak (covered by the recall), and getting the transmission reflash, I've had zero issues.

17 with 40k miles and just noticed that I have an oil leak, more than likely the well known front engine cover gasket.

just under 40k and probably about to replace the steering rack as it's developed a clunk from somewhere. Dropping off at dealer Wednesday to find cause on mysterious noise.
