E68A3973-831C-4B03-BC5D-5AD6A36BA2E7.jpg I’m selling my MGM custom front grill and wondering if it will fit the earlier 2nd gens. Seems there was a facelift, but not sure if the dimensions and mounting points are the same. Can anyone confirm?

Yes it'll fit if the guy buying it is ready to do the whole front end. An early 2nd gen can swap to the 2.5 gen stuff but it isn't just plug and play. Just sell if for the 12-15 crowd. If someone is doing the conversion they'll know what to look for. That way you don't get the dumb questions of converting.

12-15 labeled 2.5 Gen in most circles. Restyled from the cowl forward (front clip) compared to 05-11s. No dice.

Timing is everything, but I suspect if it weren't me who answered somebody else would have within a minute. This place is an ant hill

Seems like no, but I'm curious to know what other grill options exist with a good looking design, maybe such as mesh.
So what if you find another one that does fit, or custom-make mesh?

I'm just not sure what options exist/what they're called, and where to find them. Top search results that pop up when searching grill are from the website Car-ID or something, and idk how good those look, if they're quality, and if it's a good site/source or not.
