Oh well, thank you anyway. If I ever find out, I will post it here. Which gauges are you displaying on yours?

I have the six panel screen: instant MPG, engine temp, trans pan temp, torque convertor temp, % engine load, and relative throttle %. I like to keep an eye on temps. I also go to Colorado and have also played with the gears in S to see the effect on engine load and relative throttle. Sometimes this trans wants to hold too high a gear in the mountains and when I down shift the relative throttle % goes down yet I maintain speed or gain speed even. It runs a lot better in the lower gear.

The codes posted in this thread worked for my 2017 (thanks) but don't work for my 2019 4 cyl. Anyone have the codes or tricks for the 4 cyl auto?

I can't help you there, but contact UG customer service and ask them about it. They were very good when I contacted them about my 17 and the trans codes.

Found an easy and inexpensive way to mount mine. Keeping it away from the windshield stopped those irritating UG overheat warning beeps whenever the sun was shining on it.

EDIT: note that the gum adhesive strip does not tolerate heat well after all, so I am trying to hang the hook with foam tape adhesive instead.

Update: foam adhesive works well so far in 100-degree outside temps (see pics for update). Lightly sand to rough up the back of the hook, the tape will stick to it more securely. Also clean the mounting area on the dash and back of the hook with alcohol before using the tape.

Thanks! I will definitely replace my mileage reminders for engine load and relative throttle %. I also like having voltage in order to be able to monitor the alternator output as well as our main battery when we are camping.

That's a great idea. Certainly don't want a dead battery in that situation.

Let us know how the foam tape works once you have some time to check it out. I'm interested.

Hey- lightly sand the back of the hook to give the tape more bite, the hard plastic on it is rather shiny. My gauge stayed up with full sun at over 104 today, so far so good.

It had to be much over that in the truck with the windows closed, too. Test closed, works well.

That's great that you got it working! Thanks for letting us know. Hopefully other 4cyl guys will find this helpful.

@ancient11 Did you get the codes from the Ultraguage site? Can you post them here for others to use?

tacoma04 thank you for sharing this. I've entered these values but now am not sure how to have these show on my gauge. I went to the first page and tried selecting these gauges but don't see them anywhere. Do I need to go into a different folder option? Thank you in advance!
