High pressure makes me nervous too. I used some engine degreaser and a garden sprayer. The engine degreaser cleans the plastic and rubber hoses nicely as well as the block. I tend to inspect the truck more closely as I clean the engine bay and get the mud off the suspension.

I’ve only washed mine once so far, but I used the low pressure engine degreaser at the car wash. It wasn’t that bad but the engine cover and some other parts were kinda nasty.

    What hasn't been modified?
I’ve used high pressure on mine a few times now. It’s been fine except for the most recent time, since I’ve changed headlights they don’t seal as well on the back side

Made an appointment at the Toyota place yesterday for the leaf springs. September 18. Also ordered a replacement glass for the driver side mirror.

You can usually get the owners information from the county assessor's office. Then you can write them a letter to try and make a deal outside of dealing with the shitty realtor.

Either that or the property owners just don't give two shits and are trying to just bank as much money as they can due to the influx of people over there on the best slope.

Is it their agent or yours who is being flaky? Sorry if I missed it

That could be part of it. Sometimes agents won't give direct buyers the time of day, but would be reasonable with another agent. Agent could also be an interested party or related. Could also be the sellers know and aren't that motivated to sell it. Is it 35-40 acres or more? Just wondering if it's anyone or anything there's even a remote chance I would have run across (I do some mapping work for an appraiser but we rarely look at anything smaller than that).

You might get more attention/response in here. I haven't been up there so I don't know for sure, but I think it's right here. You'd need to sign up for a free account to see all the info, but Trailsoffroad has a fairly detailed map with waypoints that I think mentions it. Or else someone who's been there might see this and chime in.

Your quote was busted. I'm not sure if it would have still notified @jubei or not. I haven't been up there (Pole Hill for those lacking context) myself (odd since it's so close, but I haven't gotten out much lately. Based on what I know there's enough options that you shouldn't have any trouble finding a stock friendly line, but I won't want to outright say since I haven't run it. Maybe someone else in here will have a more informed opinion. Next weekend eh? Hrm… I'm guessing you'd be starting from the Estes Park end and just doing the upper loop? How are you getting to Estes - 34, 36, or through the park from the west?

His quote was definitely messed up, but I replied to him in the Trip Reports thread

Just noticed a chip in my paint with some rust underneath. What’s the best way to deal with this? Do I risk the rust spreading under the paint?

I'd say chip it out a little bit more to see if the rust has spread, sand/clean the rust out. Fill/paint/clear coat

But then again when I took a massive gash out of my tailgate I just sprayed some some-what matching paint over it and called it a day :D

Head down to your local auto parts store for a DupliColor touch up pen.

I've been in/out/in/out so far this afternoon touching up these chips on my truck. One rusty one on my pillar is halfway covered by the windshield gasket and I wanted to get it protected before winter.

If you want to spend a lot of time on it and make it look really good:

Lazy way get the closest color of spray paint, spray a bit in the cap, use a q tip to apply.

Send me the savings on the color match paint thanks :luvya:
