    Hello all,
This is my first post on here. I have been reading forums and comments on TW for about a month now.

First off, save your breath on asking me why. I just want more height Ok. Just personal preference.

    I am looking for a parts list for a 6" + lift.
    I want to do 22" - 24" rims.
Wondering what height I need to achieve this.

Was looking at doing Fox 2.5s DSC front and back. With a Billet Camburg Uniball.
Had 4x4 store quote me parts using the 6" RC kit that would be cannibalised. Anything better then RC for the lift items?
Stock rears leafs are flat already, I used to use this as a work truck. I have a steel weathertrack drawer in bed and a camper shell. Truck is squatting bad.

Anyways I have looked everywhere on here, but it seems you purists are all about 2-3".

Can anyone confirm if I need a long travel coilovers or if the Fox 880-06-418 would be what I require.
Other then the UCA and rear 2.5 shocks what do I need?
I assume I should just replace the entire leaf pack since the stock one is flat.

Please don't send me a link, that doesn't answer my question.
    Or question my preferences.
If you actually know and have lifted a Taco then actually helping and answering shouldn't take longer then reaming me about jacking my angles all up on the stock setup. Looking to do a quality lift here.
    Thanks in advance guys.

FYI I will be doing the work myself, truck just sits in my garage now. I will get it inspected and then tear it apart hopefully soon.
    Thanks again

If I do change my mind, the lowest I would go is 6" with like a 19 or 20" on thick tires.

You need a drop bracket kit (for anything over 4") and a knuckle set. The knuckle sets usually require 18"+ rims so you're good. Most drop brackets actually don't need UCA because the angles are actually better due to the knuckle.

I would do the drop bracket, with fox full length shocks and see how it goes.

The rear usually is a 2" spacer with an add a leaf for a 6" lift.

Drop bracket lifts usually have terrible prop shaft shaft angles, but the best CV shaft angles.

buy rough country. you're already lifting your truck past healthy angles, why not buy garbage to seal the deal?

Pro Comp 6" I've never had any issues with them. Installed probably 10 on Toyotas.

If you don't have anything useful to say then keep it to yourself on my post.

But how do I post on your post but keep it to myself? I find my info useful. You want a 6" lift? Rough Country provides one.

Get a Chevy if you want a 6" + lift

If anyone cares I'm looking at the BDS 6" kit, with standard equipment. Seperately buying a UCA and the 2.5 Fox's DCS ....

    Stuck on the Coilovers....

Should I get the long travel or stock mid travel?

I got 7k to spend on suspension, not including rims and tires.... Is there a better way to get to 6" on that budget?

Just bored but I figured being the only one actually responding to your post that you'd be less bored too.

So I got my springs from a local shop... And One of them is damaged from shipping, looks like the bracket got crushed on the coil over.
This is the side that faces outward ....
    Will this be visible?
I'm thinking I should return, cause I don't want to see this constantly.... It's on driver side :-(
    What do you guys think?

Sounds like you might be building a show truck since your thinking 22-24” wheels, ifs that’s the case you don’t want a scratched coil, if you were building a off road rig you would give a heck cause they’d get scratched up anyways.

I'm gonna just compress the coil and turn it :-( they said they would swap it out but I have to wait for next shipment.
Sea cargo in Hawaii is a joke.... They toss everything they can fit into a container then try and stuff some toyotas inside

    Ok next question.

What leaf pack kit should I get so that I do not have to use the blocks that come with the 6" BDS Kit?
I need to replace my springs anyways.
Is a +2" Sufficient for this? I haven't looked at the BDS parts but I assume there is a different bolt hanger or ubolt flip to gain the other inches?
Does anyone even care to help me... Thanks in advance

Probably a custom pack from Deaver to get you 6" of rear lift.

Deaver or dobinsons should be able to make a set of custom 6” rear leaf packs.
