Hasn’t been this clean since before Windrock last March.


Also had an amazing meal at the TW cook out today. Great time even though it was so crazy hot out.

I drove my daughter to work in it just to drive it.

With all the home improvement commitments I have right now I’ll be lucky to get out with it a couple more times this year.

Planning to do FPK in October and then hopefully hit FRO in November and December. Even if they’re just day trips...

The truck hasn’t seen dirt since early June.

 

We need to get both of you to East Tennessee for another get together.

Lately I’ve got the urge to find an 80’s Fiberglass Sunrader RV and put the shell on a 2nd gen...

 

That would be sick. I have always thought of doing that but never followed through.

 

The money tree sadly has not beared enough fruit for such endeavors. Also MrsTaco would be disappointed with an RV of such a small stature.

Perhaps upon retirement I could take on a project like this?

I think I could get the shell for $1-$2K. The issue would be the expense of the Tacoma to put it on...

 

So I should put the popcorn wagon away?

 

Yeah... it’s just a pipe dream for now.

 

I spotted this in Cape May this morning. This would be a perfect set up.

 

There are a few European outfits that build campers like that that are lower profile and when the owner wants to camp they employ a system that raises the roof up like a gift box to create heaps of space.

 

I've seen them too... Seems everyone else on the planet gets these cool modular camping devices & we get the basic bitch stuff. With the exception of your "Fort KickAss" which is of course imported...

I've been watching these since I first saw them on FB... I love the concept but I do not like the construction method that they're using on these. Also not a big fan of the floorplan.
The rear dinette Sunrader is the optimal floor plan and the fiberglass construction is stronger and lighter.
