Don't be. Watch the YouTube video on the install as your actually do your install. Just take your time and don't rush it.

Got mine install today. I just happened to break the same tab on each side for the cover piece that hida the wing mirror bolts. I also have a slight a piller bulge from the adapter install but I will deal with that another day. Apart from that it's an easy install if you follow along with the YouTube install video.

Just take it slow and test everything before you button up the door panels.

Should these things turn off after a minute if the doors are open? Mine just stay on.

They only turn off if I shut the doors.

They also don’t turn off with the dome lights switch?

It's really not bad. The only other experience I really had with "involved" plug and play mods would be the tailgate switch from KTJO 4x4.

    Mine are in!!!!

I have the A pillar bulge I’ll work on it when I’m not so tired

    Hints:

Pull the trim with the door controls first and disconnect the wires first. Don’t try to disconnect them from behind the door.

Take the speakers out! Don’t mess with pulling and cutting the plastic weather sealing. You can also take both sides of the boot out this way as well.

Make sure you have the wire behind the window or when roll it down it will pull out the connection.

If it is just the puddle lights, it is pretty easy.
Hardest part is getting it through the boot or trying bend the harness in the A-Pillar to fit.
If I was doing the puddle lights only, then it would have been a 30 minute job.

How do you order these? Is the install pretty easy? Wonder if theres a way to use a filter of some sort to project "TRD" on the ground

Finally had the chance to install mines today. Total time was 4 hours. I was going slow to make sure I didn’t break anything. Wasn’t difficult but more so tedious. Getting that damn wire through the boot was the most frustrating part. I would highly recommend getting the fishing tool that the guy uses in the video. I don’t even know how it’s possible to do it without it. Make sure you’re patient with it. It will get frustrating at times but you have to be keep at it. Another happy Meso customer

    Subtle Puddles

With a yellow filter on the puddles and a custom kill switch, I made the Meso Puddles in my truck a bit more discreet.

For DIY interest, I laser cut the small yellow Meso puddle stickers from a larger 6” diameter Hella Color Shieldz laminate:

My CAD file (DXF format) for the laser cut is here.

I am not envious of selling a "complicated" kit in TW. Holy shit.
