Are spiders bad in your shop? I always have a few but this year is crazy. It's like rabbits breeding in here.

That's what I've been thinking lately.
I skinned my knees and hands pretty bad once, way wayyyy back in 1973.
    So I've been fortunate.
Lots of close calls though from idiots.
These days I limit my motorcycle riding to back roads.

Just yesterday I was in my Tacoma behind a Harley.
Some damned fool pulled out right in front of the guy.
Saw his rear tire break contact and thought he was gonna high side, but he held it.
Gave me shivers seeing it, because it's happened to me a number of times.

You see people at a side road looking to pull out, or they're in the opposite turning lane.
Will they or won't they? And you tense up.
Wait wait wait for them to do something stupid.
Nah, they see me or they wouldn't waiting til I'm on top of 'em.
    They won't.
Then sure enough, they do.

I've had my Vulcan on Craigslist for awhile.
Guess I better drop the price.
Mechanically, it's A-Okay. I've done all the wrenching myself.
I'll be sad to close that chapter. [sniff]
But also, in a way, not. :p
