I could sell my wife on this. Then I could sell my Taco & Harley and get a Challenger. :burnrubber:

Huh that is interesting. I don't see the gap in their lineup that it fills. Functionally it is essentially an ugly rav4, maybe with slightly better clearance.

It's wrong side drive. Didn't read the article, is it going to make it to the states?

My thoughts. Maybe to compete with the Sprinter?

ARB Bumper, SOS sliders, SOS rear bumper, SOS skid plate. OME Lift. Some other stuff.
But can you fit 33's on it without a lift or a CMC?

I doubt that would ever make it to the U.S. market. I can see it being popular in other countries, but there is almost zero market for something like that here. We don’t even currently get the HiAce.

I know the van life crowd is getting super popular, and are wanting AWD more and more, but this doesn’t quite fit. It needs removable seats, not the fold flat ones in the photos. And it has a low roofline and is very short for any livable space. It is essentially a rugged Sienna, and it looks like one too.

    Like, so many.
Kind of a cross between a minivan and an suv? I'd drive that before I drove a minivan.

I could see it as a commuter, not a replacement FJ.

The fact that they are calling it anything close to an FJC or a Land Cruiser is what is really bothering me. As a former FJC owner I am deeply offended, unless somehow it ends up being BOF with solid axles haha.

Edit: a more appropriate name would be Toyota Sienna TRD Off-Road
