Who has an AK (and variants)?

Looked at AKOU earlier and ready to buy what I want to upgrade the WASR a bit, just figured I'd check here first. None of the parts I want require a FFL

 

I have the same Hungarian kit on the way and a Romanian side folder. It will prob be a while before i build mine but we are in salad days. Dont wanna miss out this time i remember the $100 kits when i was a kid.

What are you looking for specifically? I finally pulled the trigger on some Zenitco rails and other stuff direct from Russia. We will see how the order experience goes.

Lol. Im going to pimp out a $500 WASR10.

 

Mostly a better brake/comp, maybe dust cover rail. It's already got a full Magpul MOE treatment with a Zhukov stock, after I went through 2 sets before settling on this (should've done it at day 1). I'm not wanting "AR-lookin scary black rifle", just a more modern version.

Side not, if you got a new WASR for $500, it was many years ago or definitely used. Or unmentionable favors were had/given HAHA! The market has swung wildly again.

 

Anything domestic you could get from midway or brownells. If you want Russian ive bought from ivanthebear and redbearshop on Amazon. Kalinka optics is also on amazon but i havent bought from them yet. As you know amazon wont do gun parts so i went to ivanthebear directly. I used my credit card so we will see if i get my order or if my credit card number gets stollen by some commie. Lol. If you want a real dust cover rail that actually works id suggest spending the coin on the Russian made one. I got the zenitco B10m rail with B22. The B22 rail will make it so i can mount a small rds above the rear sight. So i guess its all in what you wanna do.

Lol yeah i got my wasr10 in 2003 or so when i was 16. Thats when partkits were 100 a pop. Case of 1k ammo was 80.

 

Fedex screwed me up real bad but i finally got my kits. Side folding romy on top and hungarian underfolder below and underfolder romy kit in the box. I plan on using the side folder on my wasr10.

I love the color of the top grip from the romy side folder kit. The bottom grip is from the cheap romy underfolder kit for reference.

Got my package from Russia. Zenitco B-10M grip, Zenitco PK-3 grip, B-22 rail and Zenitco PK-1 front pistol grip. The B-22 allows me to mount a RDS above the rear sight. Supposedly it wont interfere with the sight picture.

 

Post some pics when you get it all together, looks like it's gonna be pretty sweet.

 

I want a AK74 like that. I've shot a real Krinkov, so much fun.

I dont have a good work station but i got the front end on. Really have to pound that sucker on.The stock went on easier. Everything is loose still but so far so good.
