I’ll confirm tomorrow, but pretty darn sure I hold 6th easily at 80mph on Texas highways. Drops to 5th for passing or getting back to speed. Stock and 1.05P and now 2.0 OLE latest

 

Good thing you can save this one somewhere and always go back to it. I have saved every tune for my truck since I started at 1.03

I had every tune saved for quite some time, until I finally got rid of the older ones since I can no longer run them anyway. Not after updating from B12 to B13

 

I notice that I have an windows update pending. Those that initiated the update did you all have problem with P5Flash post update?

 

From all of the info that I have received from this site, I do not believe that you should update your machine at any time. I believe that it kicks you out of the registry. Wait for others to chime in though? IMHO.

 

Generally the registration should only need changed if the hardware changes BUT windows 10 does some stupid shit so do so at your own risk

Throttle feel and shifting are both a big improvement over 1.05
The biggest issue I had was not upshifting beyond 2nd while ECT was active. (2-3 didn't happen and 3-4 didn't happen, speed limiter still works ). If I drove without full throttle it upshifted as expected.

I'll send this to zendesk as well.

 

I updated a few days ago. After restart, defender popped up about flash software. Put it on the exclusion list again and flashed my truck.

 

I was nervous but had to do the Windows update or keep extending It. Took a chance and updated. I flashed the latest tune yesterday without any issues.

 

I'm with you. I don't think I'll be switching to a different tune. It's perfect for me. Its exactly what I wanted.

 

Knows anyone what kind of OLE do we have? Dynamic from 87 to 93 or do we have fix ranges with 87, 91 and 93?

Can the tractrix cable be used to read PIDS for those obd2 apps?

 

Good question. I run 92 gas. Would that offer a hair more performance than running on a 91 tune?
Granted, no one would be able to tell the difference in real world driving but a curious mind wants to know.

I always run 93 and did the initial pulls, etc. for the last 2.0 version. Runs really well.

If I'm somewhere and 93 isn't available, do I need to reflash (probably not), run through the 2 pulls again (probably not), or just drive the damn thing and let the electronics figure it out (probably so)?

The whole point of OLE is that reflashing is not needed to use lower/higher octanes.

 

Do tell. How much more of a difference in power between 91 and 92?
