Well, there are lots of rivers, creeks, etc. with the same name, but unless you live near one of the smaller, lesser rivers, there's universally one. The Colorado River, as known by 99% of the people, does not run through Texas, although there is a river called the Colorado River that does exist entirely within TX, if that clears it up. You weren't wrong, and neither were they. Kinda like the Mississippi River in Canada.

 

When I was living around San Antonio during winter time you’d hear about that at least once a year as the frozen ice sheet on top of the box trailers would finally melt just enough that the wind resistant would make it fly and one would stay together long enough to slice some unlucky victims car open.
