It is with a very heavy heart I bring this news today.

One of our own, friend, club member and enthusiast has passed away.

Jerry Gresmond was one of the coolest people I've ever met and had a chance to share time with. Rest in Peace brother, we'll miss you.

 

WHAT?!? He was doing well (albeit in some pain) when we talked. Do you know what happened?

 

Wow. He was at that Bastrop run that I was at, right Chad? That last pic looks like the same spot where the pic of the Tundy was taken. I remember talking with him before we all took off.

 

He was struggling with depression and has taken his own life. I feel so terrible and wish I could have been there for him when he needed it.

Damn. If any of y'all are struggling with that, reach the f out and get some help. I've been taking medication for years, not necessarily for depression, but mood stabilization, (a lovely family trait...).

There is no shame in realizing you need some help, AND DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT!

Fuck man, may he rest in peace. Is there anything we can do? Family we can reach out too or something? Chatted a bit but never knew him all that well.

 

His wife reached out to me. Asking for our help taking his mods of the truck and selling them to raise funds for the costs he has left behind.

 

Yeah man, this life is too precious.

 

He was in pain all the time. Any word on memorial service or funeral arrangements?
