Yo, i have a 2016 Tacoma 2.7l base model. I installed the morimotos... plugged them into the harness and they dont work....

I checked the fuses. It has one (Fog Fr) fuse. And doesn't have it in the other. But i took one out of the other one and tested it and it still didnt work.

Anyone had this problem? I did check everything with a multimeter and i got no current going to the fog lights

Did you confirm the polarity of the pins prior to sliding them in the connector?

Also is this a factory fog light harness, or did you add it after the fact?

Bought a new relay and it didnt work. I had a buddy at toyota that said sometimes if they are base model they dont put the power pin in the relay. Idk if thats true though

Yeah it sounds like nothing is triggering the lights to come on from the factory side. Maybe someone has been through this here and can ring in.

Otherwise, you can always just power the fog lights off of the low beams, so they just come on with the headlights without anything else needed

I had to add a harness for my 2017 Sr fog light install. Did you purchase and add the oem harness?

You've got to trace back the circuit till you find where the power is.

Since you have none at the light end, I'd start where your added harness connects to the truck

My install was different. I did not use the OEM harness nor the stalk as I didn't know if that would work. I simply added a switch in the middle console and used a harness supplied with the aftermarket fog lights. I wanted the option of turning the lights on at any time.IMG_20190801_203528.jpg

I'm having the same issue with my 2017 TRD-Off road. I installed morimoto fog lights with the factory harness. They worked fine for a number of months. The other day I noticed they weren't. Check fuse. Replaced relay Fog Fr. Still not working. Let me know if you find anything! I'll do the same.

Caliraised Fogs and Harness. Picked up a switch to fit the middle console as the one provided was too large.
