Your results are certainly good enough for my purposes.
I was watching some Youtubes & it appears a second set of hands make a huge difference as well as quality heat gun & quality reworkable film -- for large areas, which is what I'm thinking (flat side of an RV).

An extra set of hands would make a huge difference, I had my daughter help me a little and even that was very helpful, someone who had a longer attention span and knew what I was doing would have been much better

Anybody here with a 3rd gen with cab mount bushings problem? Mine has been squeaking since about 4500 miles. I just took it in for them to check it out and they agreed that the bushings are completely gone. They took care of it and gave me an F150 5.0 as a rental, all free of course. I absolutely love the F150. I had the same truck as a rental for a week when I first moved here.

I was gonna replace the bushings myself since I bought the Energy bushings kit but they wouldn't let me take the truck back citing that it's a safety issue.

I'm just really surprised about this. I know it's a known problem with the 3rd gen but I didn't expect it to happen so soon.

    morning.

Sorry @Cativelense , I got my hedges & lawn done this weekend. You'll have to look elsewhere for stuff to do this week.

'Funny' story - Rhododendron grabbed the gas cap off my lawn mower & flung it under the mower. Chopped to bits in about 2 seconds. Hope Sears sells replacement gas caps as only thing I have that fits is Saran Wrap. :anonymous:

    Welcome to fall everyone!

    Morning all!

Had a great weekend. Got some paint on the base angle and cutting edge of the plow, and was able to pull the rest of the blade off. Going to start wire wheeling that to prep it for paint, but I’m happy with the quick progress so far.

Also spent some time at the Terryville fair with the wife and some of her family. Watched the demo derby and had some brews; always a great time.

Speaking of fairs, the Woodstock Fair is happening this weekend in the Quiet Corner. You can park at my church for $5, and it's a quick 3 minute walk to the gate. They have some KILLER music this year.

    Saturday: 8:00 pm Skid Row
    Sunday: 2:30 pm Ronnie Milsap
    8:00 pm Maddie & Tae
    Monday: 4:00 pm Randy Houser
