Can she sell the truck as-is? Someone might want a nicely built rig.

Agreed man. My wife is a counselor and it's amazing to me the stigma that goes with "I'm seeing a counselor". Took me a while to get over it too, but man... It has helped me tremendously to be able to put words to my thoughts and feelings. It helps to get them out of your head. The struggles that remain in darkness will fester, but bringing them into the light will help to heal them.

Was thinking the same thing but i'll go along with whatever the family wants. Maybe happy to be wrenching isn't the right phrasing considering the circumstances but willing to help wherever I/we can

Yeah, it kinda runs in my family on my Mom's side. Her father finally went on Zoloft the last 6 months of his life, and the effects were amazing. I think part of the improvement was him realizing that the end was near, so being an a-hole at the nursing home wasn't going to get him any of that creamed corn goodness, but whatever it takes. My wife and I started watching A Million Little Things on the DVR recently, and that show has some good messages about mental health.

Take care of yourselves, brothers and sisters!

I still struggle sometimes with the fact that I have to see a psychiatrist and have to be on medication. BUT, without it I wouldn't have my lovely wife and everything now. It's best to get help regardless of what you think the stigma might be.

My wife always says that if I stop my medication, she's leaving. I reply by saying I wasn't on medication before I met her! True story...:rofl::rofl:

The hardest part for me was realizing that I may be "fine" but my family was miserable. Looking back, I wasn't fine... I was miserable too. It's hard to look outside ourselves when we're struggling, but man did it open my eyes. I started seeing someone just to apes my wife and along the way found some peace in it. Again, it helped me find words to process the thoughts in my head. I'm super ADD and really struggled in school. So I have a million thoughts in my head, but always had a hard time filtering out the noise and focusing on what's important.

I guess my point is this. There is absolutely no shame in asking for help and talking to someone. Get the dark thoughts out. Deal with them. People really do care.

Thats a good idea, but shes in a hurry as 'they are going to come get the truck very soon'
This is a good idea. But raffles alone pose problems unless a legitimate business would be willing to take it on.

Our club does not have our own tax ID number, and that will pose a problem.

I would put it on a consignment lot and tell them you want a quick sale. Meaning a discounted price.
