6% Tint all around, Toyota all-weather floor mats, Toyota bed extender and skid plate, Python 991 remote-start alarm, oem cruise control and class III hitch were all installed within a couple months. I then installed Icon c/o's and Icon's 3-leaf aal with 17x9" GA9's and 285/70/17 Goodyear Duratrac's. The DRL mod was done, as was a custom rack setup similar to the org. cross bars. Blacked out headlights bought online, and a BOSS 1500 under-seat sub installed along with a Pioneer double-din DVD player
Sounds good memario. Maybe a little loud for my tastes, but I'm impressed. I wonder how much the sound was affected by deleting the secondary cats.

It actually wasn't big of a difference. We just hung a few mufflers before I jumped on this one. Those rear cats kind of served as a muffler itself. Just a tiny bit more rasp, but it flows better for sure.

Sounds sweet. Actually it sounds much nicer than my overpriced MagnaFlow.
Trade anyone? I promised myself not to spend anymore money on my truck until my credit card is paid off, but if I can trade with a little of labor I'll do it lol

Do you think the TRD intake made a substantial difference in sound? Deeper?
Ive got the AT2525 and am looking for a little more rumble.

I don't personally know what the TRD sounds like since I have the AT. I have big plans coming soon with my exhaust setup. Stay tuned as I will be keeping the aero turbine the whole way!

I think you misread my comment.
I was wondering about the TRD intake not the TRD exhaust.

    oil change...
CAI intakes at wide open throttle dround out any other sound. I have a flowmaster 50 and the only time I hear it is below 2,500 RPM's after that its all intake.

Sorry sharkie my bad, I misunderstood... Yes, the intake definitely made it deeper, especially at really low rpm. But my exhaust is potent enough to be heard over just about everything in the entire rpm range...

Is there any aero turbine or any other muffler that will be close to the sound of the 2525 with a single in/dual out setup?

I would imagine that my current resonated setup would sound close to my original if it was dual out... Loud! lol

Aight, so what brand/model of single in dual out muffler would give me close to the samesound? Would pretty much any muffler sound the same?

No all mufflers do not sound the same. A lot of it depends on the design. The aero is a straight through design which means that the exhaust gases don't have to make any corners or move through any filters to get through the muffler. I think that many straight through design mufflers would sound similar. I still have the aero turbine 2525 on my truck now, I just also have a resonator in the system as well, purpose is to get rid of the rasp. The 2 links in my sig should be current videos of my truck. See what you think, and if you like it, I can guide you to where you want to be. If not, I have a couple other solutions I could run by you as well... Through PM of course, as to not clutter my precious thread haha.

Love the new sound, memario! I ended up installing the Dynomax Ultra Flo, but I'm not happy with it. I may swap it out for a 2525xl at some point.

HIKR, I honestly wouldn't go for the xl. It costs like another $100 for a standard glasspack with AT badging. save yourself some money as well as hassle and just pick up the 2525. See what you think. If you like it, keep it that way, if not you can pick up the length resonator of your choosing to fine tune the sound. Then you aren't at Aero Turbines mercy as far as sound goes. Also, an aftermarket resonator is only like $30.

Well yeah it may be... I just happen to be in one of the states that doesn't have any smog or vehicle compliance testing of any kind...

Good call...I'll do that. What resonator did you go with, and are you still w/o the 2 rear cats? What intake do you have? Still single in and out on the muffler?
