Bent leaf spring, And my steering wheel is completely off when I drive, could these two be correlated?

And how is this replaced. Or can i bend it back?

No you need to replace that spring. What’s the back story? How did you do that?

Looks like it's time for a new leaf pack to me.

    But I'm no expert.

Replace both sides. Plenty of used OE units out there, and several aftermarket options if you want something better. I know I would.

Recommend doing the pair. Keeps things in balance. In a third world country; no you would not replace both.

You might want to see if your truck is on the list to get that leaf spring recall that went on a while back. Had mine replaced for free before I upgraded to dakars.

    Holy crap..

The reason people say to do both sides at once is that over time leaf springs (springs in general) will wear, or settle. So if you only replace the damaged pack, you may very well find that side sitting higher than the old ones on the other side

There is a tiny dent in the bumper.. Lets hope and pray its not, We were under the truck for a while at the muffler shop, And they didnt mention anything about that. I didnt see anything either.

But Im not an expert, Who knows. From what Ive seen in serious frame - damage posts, My truck is not indicative of that, bed seems straight.

Also- if anyone was following my other post.. My Cat that was disconnected from my Truck, The ONE that was left, Was gutted...

So now i need (2) new cats? They said I could put the gutted one on the rear since its not reading any signal from O2, Regardless, I need one cat anyways, Truck sounds like a monster going down the road.. A cop would hear me a mile away

Oh- and i need the "CARB" compliant one.. Ugh.

By looking at those Ubolts/axle/lower plate, It seems kinda tweaked. I’d look really close at the shackle hangers. They are super thin.

So apparently the recall was already done two years ago?! Doesnt make sense it broke in two years. Unless truck was thrashed. Still though. Looks like they're going to cover it again though.

That isn't broke. It's bent from a severe impact to the tire.
