Be very careful with raffles. In Texas they fall under gaming laws. From the Texas AG’s office, “ Only a qualified religious society that has been in existence in Texas for at least 10 years; a qualified volunteer fire department that operates firefighting equipment, provides fire-fighting services and that does not pay its members other than nominal compensation; a qualified volunteer emergency medical service that does not pay its members other than nominal compensation; or a qualified 501(c) tax-exempt, nonprofit organization that has been in existence for at least three years may hold raffles in Texas under CREA. Individuals and for profit businesses may not hold raffles.“

 

Where is the truck chad? How far from us and how fast needed?

 

Understood. I personally do not want to do a raffle. And, wont.

But if somebody else has a business and they'd like to head that up, get after it.

You’re a mess

 

Two suggestions:
1) See if they can't put a price on the entire package and post it for sale here real quick. Maybe something can work out.
2) Get it to a shop/location somewhere asap, so that it can get worked on to stock-ify it. If its somewhere else it might help to ensure that everything necessary can get de-installed and it doesn't disappear.

BTW, it's very much too bad that something like this needs to be dealt with NOW. They have much more important things to get through and internally processed without having "stuff" like this to deal with right now.
