Any idea how much it’ll be?

 

I think the tire and tiregate is the most weight I'll put behind the axle; for a minute I considered mounting my Frontrunner 45L water jug just passed the axle only to figure "I'm adding over 100lbs to the rear of the bed with this thing..." and scrapped that idea.

Don't want to throw off the balance of this thing, especially while on unimproved roads.

 

A small loan of a million dollars.

While you're getting that done, why don't you replace your lower control arm bushings already, or was it your LBJ's?

 

LBJs replaced, LCA bushings on hold until it's not hot as balls outside...we get swarms of mosquitoes at my place after ~6pm so doing it at night is out of the question for now until Fall gets here

We're actually thinking of renting the house out and getting a nice apartment with garage in the city by the end of this year.

If that goes through, I'm picking up welding.

yeah we've had a few cases of West Nile reported in LA county this summer and the mosquitoes in our neighborhood are the worst we've seen in the few years we've lived here. Don't want to take any chances especially with the wife being pregnant. There was a thread on here recently, some TW member in Minnesota got West Nile and nearly killed him. At least that's what the docs thought it was.
