I get your point, I came from that way of doing business but like I was telling my neighbors (who rent) and would like to buy a house. Their financial history: All Cash transactions, no loans in your name ever, make you invisible to Mortgage folks (I get you have the cash) but it's the same vein of philosophy. Very few people are capable of all cash offers on home property (let alone with acreage) and the expectations is they will have a realtor.

Still think it's piss poor regardless for the treatment you got (RA not showing up/ not willing to pass an offer to owners)

I had to look it up as the distributor location screams Chebby. They were all built by Ferd in Cologne Germany. No mention of them being used in GM products.

The block of both engines had GM in raised letters on them. The one I pulled and the one I put back in.
I was kind of amused when I saw it.

I'm probably wrong but I don't think they were used in GM. the LH7 GM 2.8l V6 is probably what caused the mix up

I think I was reading that the 4bangwr has more power and better gas mileage for some of the models of Jeep

I had an '85 Cherokee 2 door with that engine. Without a doubt, it was the worst vehicle I've ever owned and why I swore I'd never own another Jeep for a long time.

Why the hate for "Just Empty Every Pocket" vehicles? I STILL have my '93 YJ.....It is a champ! Until I can put the lift and tires on the Taco, it is my GO TO rig for wheeling!

I'll be selling it (have been saying this for about a year) but I can't let it go....too many bloody knuckles/bruised arms/cut fingers/etc.....I just still love it!

BTW an '85 Cherokee......You should have kept it and WHEELED the crap out of it! I am sure you did....not a fan of where they went with it but still a great rig!

I left it at home when I went into the military. Once I got to VA, I had a Yukon (another lemon, but I loved taking it out on the Outer Banks) and a '69 Bronco. I really wish I would've kept that Bronco...I had the silly idea that I didn't want to tow it out here when I moved.

I actually wouldn't mind picking up a "cheap" TJ as a third vehicle. My wife has a '14 Grand Cherokee Overland that's been reliable other than a couple of small repairs handled under warranty. She loves it, it's paid off, and I don't see her wanting to get rid of it anytime soon.

Anyone going to the SOX/ROX game tonight or tomorrow night?

As a true "MASSHOLE" I will be there for both games.......

The last time I saw the SOX/ROX matchup was for the 2007 World Series! We sat in the seats that are now GONE due to the "bar" area....good the Rox did that but sad to see our seats were axed....

I love baseball, beer, fishing, camping and flying.

    However, BASEBALL rules!

OMG.....I had an '88 Bronco with 37's on it while I was stationed at Hurlburt Field. GREAT vehicle and the best part was I could actually put my 10' Jon Boat in the back! That rig was SOLID! So sad I sold it when I got stationed at Kadena JP......If I could get it back I would. Not sure where it is now (Bronco) .... :(

More Boston fans at Rockies games than Rockies fans... makes me sad.
    Same with Dodgers games.

In other sad news.. when I sold my topper a few months ago I gave away my mounting brackets for my soft topper not realizing I gave him that many brackets. Anyone happen to have 4 lying around before I just order from Amazon?

    Yeah...I get it...

Kind of like "RAIDER" fans....because the like the LOGO....LOL

I will always stay true to MASS! However, I would never move back there!

Since college in 1986 I made a LIFE decision to move here. Simply for the passion I have for fishing/shooting/outdoors.......
