My 2019 Tacoma TRD sport auto Access cab 4x4 is geared very high i think. At 60 mph its RPM is 1500 in 6th gear. It seems to pull most small hills in Oregon in 6th gear. I run the ECT a lot and it stays in 5th until its over 2000 with little load. This is with 265-65-17 Toyo open country A30 tires. Also the front disc calipers are so big they almost hit the rim. A good mud run would pack it tight around the calipers. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Sounds about right but in case you want to know:
Place some chocks around your front tires, throw the truck in neutral, and jack up the rear end. Manually spin the drive shaft or the back tires. Count how many times the driveshaft spins for one full rotation of the tire.

    Stock is 3.909
It's geared different if you get anywhere around or over 4.5

browse and search around and you'll see tons of folks running 4.88's, a few on 5.29's, all the MTs have 4.3 stock, and many of these trucks run OVTune to open up the performance. with great results. spend some time looking..
