Plus rock gardens would eat a 2wd. There’s one bypass you’re more likely to flip on than the actual trail lol

Hey all. Hoverlover made me aware of this event over in the SA thread.

I may be able to come out on the 21st and bring two coworkers with me. One wants to bring his Jeep though, would you all be nice to him anyways? :D

What do people recommend bringing for a day visit? I don't plan on staying over night, so I'm thinking food and water for the day should be good. Any basic tools I should bring? I've got a pittsburg steel wrench set, that's about it

Any recommendations for things I can bring for the group? I may need some help navigating the trails as I have not gone offroading in my Tacoma yet, other than messing around in some nearby construction sites. My truck is stock, so I'll be sticking to the easier stuff until I get use to driving the truck offroad. I also has a set of cheap Corsa AT tires that I have no idea how well they will perform offroad, I got them the end of last year as I had to get a new set of tires and that was all I could afford at the time.

My truck is a white 1999 Tacoma SR5 Ext. cab V6 5MT TRD OR with 295k miles. It's missing the stock TRD skid plates as they were either stolen or the dealership forgot to put them back on after a service. I just noticed when I did my last oil change, they were gone when I went to unscrew the drain plug.
