Slightly better condition than mine, good price compared to others I've seen:

 

If I didn't already have mine I'd buy that 1 it looks in really good shape

 

I need to come up with a list and write down all the stuff I need/want to do to the Tacoma in the near future

 

Build threads are good for that.

 

That needs a very extensive update...

 

40's, full roll cage, and a 5.7 engine swap with supercharger .....

 

God dammit you werent suppose to tell anyone! but full interior cage, bed cage, 37s, and crawl box to name a few

 

I ran there earlier in the summer. I loved it but I wish there was some qualification required to get into the Pro races. There was a woman who spent the entire time getting helmets on and listening to safety training posting to her snapfacegram and posing. We got onto the track and she was a rolling road block. She refused to get out of the way. I tried so hard to get around her I ended up going outside of her on a hairpin and she went wide and sent us both into the wall. As I was getting back onto the track and passing her she legit swerved into me. It was kinda sad. I was more upset the spotters didn't kick her off the track.

I only ran once but I was 2nd out of 10 or 12, so I'm not complaining. I never got a full lap without awful lap traffic to really see what I could do. I wish I could do the league but with baby due 9/29 and likely coming earlier I wouldn't feel right going.

Nope, just his toy.......he has a Tundra for his DD. Plus he can trailer it when it stops from becoming road legal and bring it to rock crawling events

 

I was gonna say, his truck is awesome, but some of these changes might make driving around town a bit annoying

 

Yea I definitely had some traffic as well but I figure if I'm doing a league it must not be as bad then. And 100% agree that baby comes first. Maybe the next league

 

Wife saw the 4Runner in Army Green. Itching to trade her 16’.

Wish 4Runner would make their pro colors regular colors the year after like they do for Tacoma’s. She doesn’t need a pro obviously, but it would fit all the style needs she has without messing with it at all, obviously there is a steep cost to that. Either way, not really sure what the plan will be for that, but nothing anytime soon as they aren’t even on the lots yet and I’m not going to pay even msrp so might be a while until a dealer would even want to waste an allocation on me. Both dealers around me do under msrp on the pros tho, at least they’ve offered me them under.

We’ve thought about a wrap+suspension lift before, but to do it right I think I’m putting myself close to the cost of just trading for a pro she wouldn’t need to ever touch.


Anyways, just thinking out loud here, open to any criticism or thoughts

I agree with this for my truck, but built usually means extra maintenance and she isn’t going to be the one responsible for that she also won’t appreciate the difference.

I’m in the camp of the pro is more a capable show car, rather than a built tank that really can go over most anything. And wouldn’t be considering one for myself ever.

But say I build, a set of ads/Kings and all associates stuff, what 5k? Maybe a little more or less, but I’d want 2.5’s and clickers if I’m gonna go that way.

Then add on a wrap, not sure cost but know it’s at least a couple thousand for a good one....

And a new warranty as we are at 60k (not a lot I know, but out of warranty for sure).

I don’t know. This isn’t happening tomorrow or next month even, so I got time to get a better idea of numbers. Also, anyone know a great wrap place anywhere around? Not anyone local that I’ve heard of or would honestly probably trust.

 

Lol the Speedo doesnt move in 1st and 4lo at idle. Just have to learn how to drive with the rear locker on the road

 

Well, I'm going to be in Pittsburg this weekend trolling if you feel like making a road trip! Not sure how many people will be in the boat with me this weekend but I can troll 10 lines no problem with the planer boards.
