I hate converse with a passion. I own 5 or 6 pairs of vans and 2 pairs of Ariats. Only two brands of footwear I’ve worn for the past 7 years.

    Now thats a bike ride!

Whats funny is I could run as fast as you bike (depending on how much hopping I have to do).

I really don’t trail run much though. Just for fun. That shit gets hard.

    I wear Asics and Saucony

I have a zero drop shoe I lift in but I don’t wear them for any standing/walking/running. I cannot handle Vans or Converse.

I’m a running shoe guy. Even when I wear suits I have running shoes on. I only wear dress shoes in front of people that matter like judges and legislators.

I normally ride around 8-10mph but this one gets averaged out slower due to stops and talking and blah blah blah. If I turn it on, do a loop non stop and turn it off, my time will be much faster

One of my good friends is a hand cyclist and he does a well groomed path around a lake while I do the harder trail runs. He does two loops for my one.

The aggressive bike trails are tough.

I can see where that is the visual. They do make some all the same colour now. I have a pair of leather ones that I think look different come to think of it

What are your favorite exercises you can’t live without?

Arnold Press is one move I always keep in my routines no matter what.

Lateral raises are another important one.

    And pull ups.

    Squat, bench, dead lift.

Accessories would be pullups, strict shoulder press, and any kind of unilateral leg work.

Ok so goals for this week:
    Eat more, drink less.

I feel like I’m getting too thin. My body probably needs more substantive nutrition.

On my P90X weeks where he wants people to do like 40,000 bicep and tricep reps I’m going to do a week of:
    Upper Body
    Cardio
    Lower Body
    Cardio
    Upper Body
    Cardio
    Lower Body

More traditional weight lifting 8-12 reps sets of 3-5. P90X is very high pace like don’t stop moving lifting which is fun but like I miss the heavier breaks between sets stuff.

What do you guys do for core work? I’m getting a bit bored with my same ol ab routine.

Barbell Bent over Row. A staple for back development. A good test of strength too. Machine/Cable flys - love the pump on these.

I’m a Saucony fan myself. It really just depends what works for the individual though.

I loved this episode of sponge bob - it's fucking hilarious. Except I have full head of hair, no acne, and no gyno :boink:
