Do the DC's have the same roof liner speakers as the AC's? Has anyone come up with any replacements for those? Crutchfield doesn't even bother to list one.

Do you or anyone know how these compare to the tweeters in the tacoma's with the JBL sound system?

 

JBL tweeters are same as other stock tweeters regrettably.

Good to know. I figured the JBL Tacomas had upgraded JBL tweeters as well.

 

When you see the door speakers you’ll realize how crap they are too. They sure found a sucker in me with that package.

If I’d have known I’d have passed and just grabbed some discount speakers from Crutchfield.

 

I'm scared to ask how much the JBL package added to the price of the Tacoma.
