Did you use someone’s product or make your own from led strips?

Not going big. Think I'll stick with 265 70 17 unless I go slightly bigger. Dont do much off road. Getting high gloss dark gunmetal for my white taco. Should be in mid October. Looks good:thumbsup:

Thanks. I like the size of those. The wheels I'm planning on getting have a little more offset so hopefully those will work.

I had great results with this and especially this to take care of some scratches...

Got my Copper Ray10s installed. 17x8.5, SL rated 265/70/17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers, stock TRD Off Road suspension.

The install holes are oblong and the flaps can be moved out about another 3/4" or so. I have mine installed all the way in

I agree. Takes off those fingernail scratches at the door handles. It works really well on fiberglass boats and stuff like that.

I really like the shade of the SCS bronze. Whenever I wear out my OEM 16 (a few years at my mileage rate) I'll probably move up to 17's, but who knows what will be offered by then.

I think I'll give this product a go, scratches on black are very visible, but I got these for the door handles. Doesn't fix scratches, but prevents them really well and looks decent too. Magnetic, so they can be moved and re positioned and stuff.

(I know it says camry, but they are fine for Tacoma and my wife's 19 Highlander)

I would have stuck with 16" SCS Ray10s if they offered them in Copper. It seems they only offer the limited colors in 17".

Awesome. I have stock ones now but may not work with the new wheels and tires so this would be a great option. Thanks for the heads up. :hattip:

I’ve used the Scratch X but not the clay bar stuff. The Scratch X even worked on golf cart plastics.

I just looked at the Cupeez and they seem to be a good product. I never heard of them before now. Thanks

The clay bar beforehand was only for cleaning out the surface dirt before applying the Scratch X 2.0.

I had some serious pin striping, front bumper scuff, and dog scratches on the bed side. Scratch X 2.0 and the buffing wheel took care of most all of the scratches!

For paint chips, there's touch up paint

This is what it looks like on my black truck. If you blow the pic up, lower right on the front edge of the rear door, you'll see the scratch I am wanting to fix, thanks to the knucklehead neighbor kids who have no respect for people's shizzle. Doesn't seem like much in the pic, but stands out on black like a neon sign. The "Yes I know it's a truck" disclaimer in effect. 20190827_105428.jpg
