I’d say these might be the last batch before the hexpod comes out.

Will do that @74cam. Do you recall how long you had the wires on the back side. I know you said to keep them short.

The chokes helped a decent amount. I have one on each light and I also placed one on a loop of the coax right after the antenna.

Also, I found that the cheap interior LEDs I had in my dome and map lights were really screwing with my key fob. I've since replaced them with MESO LEDs and the fob is back to normal.

This is what I have been eager to know regarding this product. LEDs give off an enormous rfi signature. With no shielding or built-in groundplane in the composite housing I want to know numbers on this. Love to put a spectrum analyzer on this to see.

I Install and repair avionics in helicopters and can tell you LEDs have cost us hundreds of hours in troubleshooting, shielded wiring and rerouting wiring, isolating groundplanes, then ultimately relocating antennas.

What choke did you use? I’ve been eyeballing these.

I didn't measure but probably around 6 inches give or take an inch or two. Definitely don't want to cut them too short!

They did come with it but I was a beta tester for the 2nd gen light as well as the plug adapters. Meso mentioned releasing them soon but I haven't seen them yet!

@74cam, thank you, hoping the adapters come with the housing as that would make it easier to connect.

Back in the thread (probably about 10 pages or so) a user posted his BD5 that was colormatched to Blue. There is also someone who did one in black as well.

That would be nice if they are available. I ordered a BD3 because my truck is only wired for a brake light. I like the hex pod, but probably wouldn't utilize the other features like a cargo light. If I was going to wire in a cargo light and dust light that would be cool.
