Oh I meant nothing but great things by my statement and question and I wouldn't have it any other way,I have truly been made part of the family!!!I know I have the support hell I'm surprised Micah hasn't just popped up and installed it for me bc w ith all the questions I've had and time I've took from him it would have probably been easier for him lol, I love what I have and absolutely can not wait to get it on the truck. I have already planned 2 upcoming camping trips the next 2 weekends so I'm pressed for time and of course I find out last night that my shell roof tracks don't have the pieces in the tracks to thread in or attach the rack or anything else. I'm hoping to find some this week and not have to cancel the trip

How wide are the grab handles?

 

They are 5” wide at the base where your hand goes

 

Sorry, I should have been much more specific. What is the distance from handle mounting point to handle mounting point?

 

Center to center, 25”

 

So without reading every post and out of curiosity, to those who are alpha xl owners did you all actually leave the 5th and 7th load bars off when building the rack? Did you install it on the truck and then put the Gtek, fairing and grab handles on after it was mounted on the truck?? I'm not sure if this is how it reads but it's how I'm understanding it,idk the full method of this but I'm assuming maybe the Gtek and everything will cover/hide the mounts or can the complete rack be built and then just mounted when finished??

I did that. I wrote a write up for Matt early in the summer about updating the instructions.

 

For 1 handle? I need center to center for 1 handle. Trying to figure out if the handle is 5” how big is the lace bracket?

Hi, so I have custom color xL, 4 handles, 4 lights and etc in my cart and I cannot find out if this will work with my sunroof. Is there a link or white paper that can help me out. I’m willing to modify things.

It will work with sunroof with an adaptation. If you place the order send me an email and ill get you squared away

 

There is a fix. I have sunroof and fix.

 

I ended up putting it all together first, then installing it afterwards. I was able to get it on there with some minor difficulty, but still possible.

Has anyone built their rack in place on the truck? I am going to need to do a solo build and don't want to risk scratching/denting the truck trying to get it into place by myself.
