Hello All, I'm new to this forum and just bought my first Tacoma. It's a 2019 trd sport. Only had it for a few days but so far I love it.
My question is about remote starters for my new truck.
Doing a little research I believe I've narrowed it down to the N2 or the 12v solutions. I'm leaning toward the N2 as I've seen that they sell on this forum and the reviews look good, but the 12v solutions reviews good as well.
So here's my question...reading the reviews I see some mention of TPMS sensors and that not being part of the "plug-n-play" install. Is that true with both or either? I do not want to disable or mess up that function on my truck as I'm big on keeping everything, including tire pressure, correct on my vehicles and I like the ease of checking tire pressure from the dash.
    Thanks for any help!

Strange, never heard of a car starter affecting other functions.

Anyway's, lucky for me, I got a car starter included in the sale, and absolutely love the 2 way long range starter. After hockey in the dressing room, I start the Taco when it's like -30 below, and come out to a nice warming up truck!

    Best winter mod, ever...

P.S. on the dash, the option I chose was the TPMS psi setting. I too always like seeing that I have the correct PSI.

N2 vs 12v is like oreillys vs autozone. Both places buy a product and resale it but sometimes one place charges less for same product. N2 is cheaper. I won’t say one guy is better than the other but from reading constantly here on this forum, 12v solutions may have good service also but there’s not one negative about n2 so kinda hard to say someone can do ‘better’ than 100% positive feedback. I do know n2 will walk you through any problems you have over the phone. So if you’re impatient like me then phone assistance is instant and that’s s sales feature alone.

No, you need to add a start kit. It’s pretty simple to install.

There are always security concerns when it comes to computers. Our phones can be hack and so can our vehicles.

Thanks All. Contacted N2 directly and they answered all my questions very thoroughly. Really put my mind at ease. Ordered my starter from them yesterday. Install looks very simple so looking forward to being able to warm up my truck from the house when winter hits.

I did not get the cell phone module. I checked my factory remote at work and at home and I'm close enough to my truck for that to work. I figured I can add the cell phone later if I need to.
I'll post how the install goes once it's done.

You'll be back haha! Statistics (these are real reports ran on our end) show 8 out of 10 that didn't buy it at first, end up buying it within 1 week to 6 months from the time they bought their remote starter!

Some have even bought it minutes after the remote starter, so much so, that we are able to package them together in one outbound. The smile this thing personally puts on my face, most here with it can relate, but as you said, can be added any time!

THANKS DUDE! Glad you didn't put Pepboys vs Jiffylube, I would've been offended, ha! ;)

You are FAR too kind, and very honest :D

Let us know if you want a personal walk through over the phone, but we have color guides included in the package, which are also downloadable on our website, AND install videos on our website support section! PM me if you need my personal cell over the Labor Day weekend, I'll be around. :)

Jay, I'd say your check is on it's way, but friends don't pay friends lol! :p

Lol yeah I didn’t get mine at first. Two weeks later I bought the cell phone module. It’s awesome, when you walk away from your truck and forget if you locked it. You can just look at your phone and see
