    I assumed it was "safety inspection"...

    If he's making trips to home depot, I assume he's going to be using public roads, which would mean a safety inspection, unless he hopes to not get pulled over in the time he has it...

    But this is what happens when we ASSume... we're probably both wrong, lol

    i did mean safety inspected to be possible to use on highways and roads. if only for a short while. seems the general consensus is RUN so ill drop out on it. someone else is looking to part it out so should not be a big deal.

    Canada might have enforced nationwide safety inspections
    I guess if it does not split in half on the lift it is ok for awhile longer?


    '96 frame will not fit on a '98 (i don't think anyways)

    does it handle the mechanics lift still?
    that could be one way to test its structural integrity
    have the gravity pull it apart if its ready to go?

    Thing is you just really never know .

    It might go another 50,000 miles or 25 .

    I really don`t think the drive train was mentioned .

    Most all the Toyota 4X4`s I ended up with were much worse to start .
