Alright discount tire says back tiress are cupping. They're now rotated upfront. Any one have any thoughts? They've been balanced now but hadn't been rotated or balanced since I installed the leaf pack about 7k mi ago.

My google research shows many things come into play. Could imbalanced tires do that alone in so many miles?

Never noticed any major vibrations or noises or anything prior to this.

Not sure on the balancing. But I played with the tire pressure to ensure even wear when I was on the all terrain tires. Chalk test was the method I used, allot easier on AT tires than MT.

I only had mine rotated once and never rebalanced in 56,000 miles :anonymous:

Over inflated, under inflated, mildly out of balance, and the rear axle being misaligned are possibilities.

I’d suggest rotating the tires and double checking what you have them inflated to.

    *Asking for a friend

If someone perhaps was parked in a Ford Explorer. Would our trucks have enough power to pull said vehicle out of that parking spot?

Just don’t do it in reverse. And when the park pawl breaks in the transmission of the Ford make sure no one saw you.

In neutral it would have no trouble towing it out, parked where its just dead weight might be a little tougher. I would suggest pulling from the back end though as the front of an explorer(unless its an older one) does not have any hookup points. @CygnusX191 and I towed my in-laws explorer a couple months back to a shop to have it worked on with his tacoma. They weigh right around 6000# if I remember correctly. The tundra wont have any issues though if it can wait lol

So it seems I need to learn how to break into a car door and put it in neutral. Then no issues. Good to know!

Or just crawl underneath, and do it from the transmission shift linkage lol.

I think the Explorer is FWD, I have no idea where that linkage would be or what it looks like.

If its FWD then the rear wheels shouldn't be locked right?

Never heard of a FWD explorer. I thought they were AWD/4WD or just RWD

New ones are fwd or awd, picture the new explorer the same as the new blazer. Shit.
