I have 2017 trd auto ac . When I'm driving, the check engine lights comes on and the trac-off comes on. Then I gotta pull on the side and turn off the truck and turn it on, and it will go away.

Did it twice now. What's causing this issue?
The only thing I did recently on the truck, change oil and grease the driveshaft , but before that it, wasn't doing these.

    Bad sensor?

I also notice a hissing sound air, when I press the gas pedal.

Gotta ask the obvious question: have you scanned it yet to see what the code is?

Probably a bad sensor It may be an ABS sensor on the back axle. Any chance you may have bumped the connector?
The hissing sound may be either intake noise from a loose hose or you may have some vacuum noise coming back through the brake booster.
Get the diagnostic code and go from there.
In my experience, these things are often simple problems and it pays to start with basic diagnostics e.g.; loose, worn, punctured, etc.

Loose gas cap is a suspect.

Post it up when you figure it out. That Trac off response makes me think it's an ABS sensor

Had a check engine light with Trac off light also. Ended up being the charcoal canister. Dealer replaced under warranty.

Who buys a modern vehicle and doesn't have a cheap scanner, at the very least, in that vehicle along with a few basic tools and a few 1st aid supplies?

Not just Tacos: any modern vehicle.

Who, besides the folks who post warning light threads?

So many things can/do go wrong. 100s of electrical connectors, many of which can leave one dead in the water, or lead to accidents, or expensive damage not covered by warranty because it happened out in the woods and the warning light was ignored.

Devil's advocate: a $35k vehicle should come with plain text scan code readout instead of paying $18 for a separate accessory to do it..

Without knowing the code for the check engine light, it could be one of a hundred different things and no one has any way of knowing. If you don't have a code reader, any auto parts store will hook up theirs and read it for you for free. Post up the code on here

Even if the check engine light is currently off, the code will still be stored in the ECU most likely.

Gas cap issue is first suspect on this.

No argument, nothing useful, nothing expressed but the petulant ennui of a 13yo.

I expect great things, sir. Great things. /sarc

My protege’s calculator (below) cost more than $30. Did we get stonked?

My friend's Gulfstream cost $18m. What'd you pay for your truck? He may have gotten stonked.

Check Amazon. Or eBay. Dish soap can be more expensive.

I traded my prized mating goat and two Dugout sailboats similar to those on Gillian’s Island for my Taco.

Well, there it is, my buddy got stonked. A Taco and a jet are virtually the same thing.

BTW: What's stonked, and who's Gillian?

Heck that I know, just throwing around BabyBoomer and Millennial jargon in hopes something sticks before I’m revealed.
