I'm digging this. Do you have any close-up pics of how the bearings mount (bolt, washer, nut, bearing, nut or whatever order it's in)?
How's it mounted to the bed?
Any plans to be able to lock it closed and/or open?

It's bolt-washer-wood-washer-bearing then 2 nuts. I have plans for it to lock and it will have a hatch to access it from the top side too. I'll probably finish it over the next 2 nights. It's attached to the bed with eye bolts attached to the eyes on the rear with turnbuckles and I'll attach it by the tailgate eventually.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
You have got to have the most interestingly bizarre avatar on here ;)

It came down to the hardware I had and what I needed to do to make it work.

I'm fairly confident that the fit and finish of this is better than 95% of the drawer setups you will see on the internet. Good enough was never on my mind.
