Chinese TRD Pro Grill Installed

Well how does it look? There was some plastic molding that I had to trim off, kind of reminded me of building plastic models as a kid. I used gorilla glue as well as the included mounting screws on the lettering.

 

Much better than the stock Sport grill. Now time for some wheels?

 

Wheels and tires have got to happen but it’s a costly upgrade. I’m thinking long term - maybe next year though. I love the truck and I’m keeping her for the long haul. The chrome grill really got on my nerves. I dig the new face.

 

Looks good! Weird that you had to trim it, but looks just like OEM.

 

I only had to trim small imperfections. Everything seemed to fit together well.

 

I just ordered the Pro grill, as well. Wheels and tires are coming once the truck is paid off. Should be about 9 months and I'll be in the clear. I don't hate the OR wheels, so I'm patient. They've got to go eventually, though. Gives me a little more time to wear the GY kevlars down so they aren't a waste.

 

Now it looks like everyone else’s. Good job!

 

I'm going to install one of these chinese grills this evening as well. had to do light trimming to get the lettering to seat right but overall it looks great!
