Like you guys both work, you know! Me, I got's time. I signed on to make our Events that everyone TW knows "visible" to the FB crowd, so they would know "before", instead of complaining after. Because I learned how to make an "event" (mostly).
Yesterday was just changing some artwork, but FB made it 10X harder than it needs to be, and has changed all the example rules you would find if you use FB help or google. Last years answers don't even work!
You guys don't need these headaches.
And not a thing to do with the membership or responses, do I have!

(BTW - I have been volunteering for a year,,,)

Meh, it's OK for what I normally do, which is annoy my few friend with truck and garden pictures. But even a "fake admin" gets to deal with a ton of "never mentioned" stuff! That's OK, just trying to help. Of course, you ALL know FB owns Instagram anyway, and even though I don't have IG, NOW it shows up in TTC world - and I have to tell it apart!

 

I'm an Editor on the FB page for the Dal rescue group I work with. The Admin is this who lives up in Maine, ferchrissakes, and is an absolute control freak. The gal that runs the rescue, who is NOT the in Maine, asked me to do a few things on the page a few weeks back, and I told her I couldn't, unless I was an Admin. "But Jeff, of course you are! said she made you an Admin a long time ago!". I sent her a screenshot of the roles, and who held them, so she could see for herself. Then... the lying told me that she couldn't find where she could make me an Admin. I resisted the urge to send her some lmgtfy links, instead sending her links to the FB info on how exactly she would change my role, knowing all the time she was well aware, and was simply stalling.

I've heard nothing since, and am still not an Admin. And that is just fine with me; I've got better things to do, than get in the middle of that hen fight.

 

I have a feeling this is more of the blind leading the blind and deaf!
