    got a 2019 trd off-road just under 25k on it. Fuel pump went out dealer says they are on massive back order and no eta in sight. Anyone know a dealer that has one in stock that’s not spoken for? Any help would be appreciated thanks.

    Dealer should put you in a free loaner vehicle until they get the pump in to fix your truck.

    They said all they could get me in is a Camry and I work out of my truck on pipeline sites every day. A car won’t make it to locations I have to use 4wd a few times a week.

    Wow, I hadn't read that the fuel pump was that common of a problem. Is the unit for the '19 different from prior years? As it appears to be an emergency for you, have you checked with the auto parts stores?

    I’ll ask them in the morning. Right now seems like I’m screwed until I can locate a fuel pump at another dealer.

    See if a earlier year 2016 -18 fuel pump fits and make the dealer take one off a used truck until a new one is delivered for you.

    I thought there was only one. When I called a dealer in I purchased truck from in Tulsa looking for a pump they did not ask what one but told me it said back order in there system also. But pointed me towards dodge city since it showed they had one in stock.

    Honestly you deserve better than to be blown off. A couple of things I would try;
    - have them rent you a suitable vehicle until yours is ready
    - have them install a third party pump (since they can't seem to source one) and then include it in your warranty
    If they won't go for either of those, after involving corporate, then your need to reconsider your approach. These folks are affecting your ability to earn a living and while being nice is good while its helpful, you probably need to start treating them like they have stolen your truck. The mindset shift and a little anger may help you navigate their BS.

    Here ya go... not sure on the dealer’s ability to purchase from non-Toyota supplier, however if you have to have right away:

    Sounds about right. Anytime i got loaners from my dealer, it was always a corolla.

    Funny story actually, one time i showed up for my tss recall, ecu update and the seat upholstery repair, the service advisor said they had no car for me. The appt was booked with the service manager about a month before. The email i got from the manager, said the loaner was booked and everything.

    Service guy told me i should have called and confirmed that they have a car available for me the day before. Nice guy.
    The best thing is the seat looks like shit when it wall all done on a different date. :(

    There are 2 Fuel Pumps, one in the fuel tank, and the other is the HPFP on the engine.
