    You probably need CMC.

    I'm fine with mine.

The issue with 35s is the width more than the height

I can't go away from the skinnies or else I'll need CMC.

    There are actually a lot of good road allowances all around that area. All easy stuff, great for a beginner. Here's a list to get you started;

Byers Rd- One road north of Boundary Rd, north side of Raglan pits. Avoids the crazies at the pit. Cut down to Boundary at the first sand road, Cartwright West Quarter Line.

Darlington/Clarke Townline - on the west side of Mosport

Sandy Hook Rd - From Darlington/Clarke Townline to Wilmont Rd.

Wilmont Rd - North from Sandy Hook Rd all the way to Ballyduff Rd

Ballyduff Rd - From Wild Turkey to Porter Rd * This is one of the better ones!

Dranoel Rd - From Ballyduff Rd to Fallis Rd

Solanum Way - From Porter Rd back to Ballyduff Rd

And of course Hogback Rd which you can get to from Dranoel Rd.

The way I have them listed above pretty much leads from one directly to the next. And there are a whole bunch more in that area.

The thing is 35s might lead to a cab Mount relocate like Eugene needs. He's cut as far into the mount as possible and still not clearing.

I'll be in the Bancroft area for the weekend. I can do a run either Sat or Sun. Easy to medium type trails. Lots of forest access rds and powerline trails. I'll post details if anyone is interested in coming along.

It's sad that Toyota did all these little things to Tacomas to make it a PITA to put on larger tires on their off-road themed vehicles.

    Lol all good.

The worth of the work really comes down to the use. If we take that one ledge that I was able to clear without contacting my driveshaft, and you made contact. Comes down to clearance. If you don’t need it OR you can get by without it, then why bother. So far 33’s can do most of the trails. Will 35’s make it easier, of course, but is it worth the work and essentially “damage” to fit to that person. That’s just personal preference.

I was at a point where I needed a regear anyways, so instead of just going 4.56 or 4.10 on 33’s I essentially said screw it, went 4.88’s and I can run 37’s down the road if need be (gearing wise). Fitment and overall longevity (toerods, axles, etc etc) may not be worth it for me.

At the end of the day there is no right answer (even though @Norilsk will say his way is right and others are wrong). Just have to do what’s best for you.

That over built body mount is actually for safety. Stops the tire from crushing your feet
