Depending on what state you live in, a lot of north eastern states have Marine license reciprocity. I am pretty sure my free NY marine stamp is valid it CT, MA, NH, ME, etc

Im going to put in for that Fri off. Hopefully I get it, that will make dealing with Mass traffic on Friday way easier

I had to put in for the Sunday off. Fridays and Saturdays are my usual days off. and they don't like giving me Sundays as I'm the only one in the business on Sunday. It did get approved though

    To many, but never done
You guys better have a good trip, I'm kicking myself for missing this one:rofl:

BTW a weather tech floor mat works good as a base for a bottle jack in the sand if you don't mind marking them up some:D

I thought that was what the bed mat was for.

watched a vid of the beach runs on youtube, looks to be pretty soft stuff, looks do-able on a stock truck..

i'll have the usual handheld baofeng radio, and CB.. have to find a new ground point for the CB, and if anyone has a SWR meter that'd be awesome to get my antenna tuned.. thanks.

Initial weather reports for the 13th look pretty promising. 68 degrees, low humidity, rising pressure.

Ordering a boefang radio this week.

I see some talk about getting a beach fire permit. Any interest in chipping in to do a boil? Corn, potatoes, old bay and whatever is coming off the boats (or legal to reel in?).

I'm bringing my rod, and stopping off at North Chatham for some bait. I can't promise I'll catch anything.

As long as the road doesn’t get washed out by the storm.

    I was afraid of this.
I am highly doubtful they re-open anything by this weekend.
Usually takes them over a month to do any cleaning/reconstruction
