Discontinued AutoCheck Running "CarFax"

just curious if a VIN check on a totaled salvaged Tacoma would generate any detailed report dating to 1995
i would like to know where this particular truck spent its life until it was put to rest in the grave recently

ETXTacoma informed me of where my first Toyota pickup went to after I traded it in 22yrs ago! ... i miss that blue color that has not yet returned as an available color
it finally ended up involved in a recall something in 2oo5 in some small farming community far away with 238k miles!! ... that 3rd owner sure drove it all around the farm! at an average of about 40k miles per year

i suppose I should have my current truck VIN run to check for any potential inaccuracies

on the report i had checked it did not list as a salvage title?
do you know anything about that, how they list/designate salvage titles

 

As far as a Salvage Title, if the title was done as Salvage then it would and should have appeared on the report as that is something that goes through the DMV. So it all depends on if the DMV reported it, how it was put into their system, etc.
